Bloomberg's Enterprise Technology team is responsible for developing and deploying global enterprise connectivity and integration capabilities within Bloomberg. We are seeking a strong, senior-level Product Manager to join the New York team to drive the . As part of this team, you will be responsible for Bloomberg Enterprise Technology Product Platforms strategy, execution, and go-to-market.
As an Technology Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the strategy, development, and successful delivery of Technology products within Enterprise Technology domain:
● Your primary goal will be to enhance our Value proposition, improve their usability, and drive business growth by aligning the product roadmap with the company's overall objectives, taking into account new verticals, brands and features
● Develop and execute a comprehensive Product strategy that aligns with the company's vision, and customer needs
● Define and prioritize features, enhancements, and updates to the Product roadmap based on customer feedback, vertical analysis, and business objectives
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including verticals, business development, marketing, and others, to gather requirements, define specifications, and drive the development process
● Ensure the creation of clear and comprehensive Documentation, guidelines, and usage examples to facilitate seamless integration for developers and partners
● Oversee testing processes to ensure products meet high standards of reliability, scalability, and security
● Plan and execute successful product launches, ensuring proper communication to internal teams and external stakeholders
● Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure performance, track user adoption, and identify areas for improvement
● Engage with internal customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and gather insights to enhance API product offerings
● Stay informed about relevant regulations and ensure products adhere to data privacy and security standards
● Collaborate with the Implementation, Sales and Account management teams team to create compelling product messaging, collateral, and go-to-market strategies to drive product adoption and revenue growth
Roles & Responsibilities:
● Define business and technical standards across multiple business lines, and create developmental plans, priorities, and budgets.
● Develop the market strategy that informs successful product launches
● Defend the product road map, and work with engineering to execute their road map
● Provide input on business and technical standards across multiple business lines, and capture developmental plans, priorities, and budgets
● Handle a set of competing priorities and influences to obtain consensus from different partners
● Grow the market, and define the vision and strategic plan for product offerings
● Balance competitive advantage, customer needs, and innovation
● Have experience building best in class developer facing products (SDKs, APIs, dashboards)
● Have experience working with partners and external engineering teams to understand user needs and use cases
● Work with business partners, stakeholders, and marketing teams to develop strategy and timelines for product enhancements
Candidates to have:
● 7+ years in a Product Management role
● Strong technical understanding of APIs, We services, and RESTful architecture
● Hands-on experience with Public cloud products (AWS and/or Azure)
● Expertise in distributed architecture and server-less computing
● Capital markets and financial technology experience
● Understanding of one or more of the following:
○ Service oriented architectures, Integration architectures, and/or designing solutions for the cloud.
● Web user interface collaboration experience working with UX teams
● Outstanding project operational and delivery skills and ability to clearly articulate ideas and garner support for initiatives
● Experience working in a Lean/Agile Product Development environment
● Proficiency presenting to technical and business audiences, including senior management and large and diverse audiences
● Passion for technology and innovation
